About the Awards

Amidst unprecedented challenges that business around the world is facing, there has never been a time more critical than now for the procurement sector to come to the forefront and showcase their strategic role in ensuring resilience, business continuity, recovery and growth.

Procurement leaders around the globe have adopted innovative approaches, applied agile tactics, embraced advanced technology, empowered people and redefined norms. The dedication and commitment that procurement professionals have shown continue to play an increasingly important role in safeguarding companies’ financial viability, protecting severely disrupted supply base and reshape their organisation for a better future.

Therefore, it is now more than ever, important for us to come together as a sector to recognize and celebrate the achievements and excellence in procurement.

Established in 2019, the Procurement Middle East Awards, now in its third edition has grown from strength to strength. Procurement professionals play a critical role in ensuring the sustainability of our daily lives – how we work, live and relax are all supported by a network of organisational systems, products and services. The awards recognise and celebrate achievement, innovation and hard work by the procurement industry and seek to highlight the impact and strategic relevance of the procurement function.

The 2019 awards took place in person in Bahrain and the 2020 digital edition created a moment to salute exceptional agility and performance within a COVID-19 business environment. To view the previous editions winners, images and testimonials please visit the awards winner section.

The 2021 edition will include categories that recognise diversity, youth, leadership, knowledge, digital excellence, digital transformation, and best practice of both individuals and teams. The awards will take place as an in-person hybrid event in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where the industry’s most dynamic, agile and hardworkingn representatives will gather to witness and celebrate the collective progress made.
